With no officially-set route to travel between Land’s End and John O’Groats, people have followed all manner of paths to negotiate their way from one end of Britain to the other – but not many have chosen a straight line.
‘As the Crow Flies’, a film documenting Beeline Britain’s record-breaking A to B adventure, will be unveiled at the Kendal Mountain Festival on 20-23 November.
Ian Burton's film follows a four-man team as they make their way by foot, bike and sea kayak across land and sea, taking this novel and gruelling feat of endurance over the course of a month.
RAF crewman Ian O’Grady, world-renowned kayaker Adam Harmer, Everest summiter Tori James and 2012 Paralympian Nick Beighton all took on this first-time challenge to raise £20,000 for the British Limbless Ex-Serviceman Association (BLESMA).
