Next spring, Ray Mears will be travelling the country to share the stories of survival that have inspired him.
For his newly announced Tales of Endurance tour, he'll be looking into what makes a true survivor, highlighting the ingenuity, and adaptability that the human individual possesses and how these traits are accessed in times of crisis.
"Our ability to find humour in times of adversity and to motivate ourselves by focusing on returning to our loved ones is astonishingly powerful," said Mears. "Stripped bare by adversity, survivors cling to the most fundamental emotions, instincts and human qualities. This in its own way can be an instructional guide to living outside of adversity."
The tour kicks off on Tuesday 1 March at Shrewsbury, it will then be visiting over 20 other venues including, Leicester, Salford, Birmingham, Buxton, Truro and Cardiff. To view the full list of tour dates and for tickets visit raymears.com
