The TGO Challenge was another huge success this year, with over 300 people making self-supported west to east Scotland crossings.

Now the socks have dried, the joints have loosened and the route plans filed away, many will be beginning to miss being 'out on the challenge'. To help ease the withdrawal, we thought we'd put together a list of those who've blogged about the event. From first-time challengers to those who have made the crossing for over a decade – there are some fantastic stories and images that have been shared.

They are sure to offer some inspiration to those who are looking to try out the event for the first time as well. What better way to get a feel for the TGO Challenge than from the people who've walked it?
